So it appears that the trip to A&E was mostly a false alarm.
Whilst my eGFR had gone down from 15 to 9 and Creatinine shot up, it is possible this was due to an ongoing sinus infection / stress. However, the rule is – if eGFR plummets like that, you go to A&E so I was a good boy and did as I was told 😉
It was useful to get some up-to-date bloodwork done nevertheless, and I have added that data to this site.
It also appears from an ultrasound I had, that I have stones in one kidney and a cyst on the other, though both issues are minor and there are no plans to do anything about those.
Following an extra night in hospital, I have been let free with some follow-up appointments and conversations to be had with various teams.
An observation from this is: Although It’s a national health service, depending on where you go; not all parties can get access to your data. Different trusts use different platforms to share data internally as well as with patients. Hence why I have put my blood work results online so anybody can see them!
